(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A religious personality from Belgium believes that the current Islamic Awakening will leave a profound impact on the Palestinian issue, adding that the uprisings have granted the Islamic nations the courage to support the Palestinian nation.

Sheikh Abdullah said on the sidelines of a fifth meeting of the World Assembly of Ahl ul-Beit, the movement would rather be titled Islamic Spring rather than Arab Spring because the uprisings is much intertwined with the Palestinian issues as the foremost issue f the world of Islam.
“The situation on the ground in the past did not allow Muslims to state their true stance on the Palestinian issue however the Islamic Awakening in Tunisia, Egypt and other countries let them to make clear their position in this regard,” he said.
He expressed hope the Muslim nations would keep their awakening movement until Palestine is freed in the near future and the Muslims would stage prayers led by the Imam of Age Hazrat Mahdi in the land.
